🚚📦 A Historic Milestone for Malaysia’s Courier Industry 📦🚚
Celebrating the 1st National Courier Day in Cyberjaya with MCMC
Cyberjaya, 9 November 2024 – The courier and logistics industry in Malaysia marked a significant milestone with the celebration of the inaugural National Courier Day (Hari Kurier Negara), hosted in Cyberjaya by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
This special day pays tribute to the dedication and hard work of courier personnel nationwide — the unsung heroes who play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining business continuity, and fostering national connectivity.
Among the highlights of the day was the official launch of the MyKURIER Safety Star Rating Programme. This initiative aims to elevate safety standards, improve service quality, and enhance overall performance within the courier industry. The rating system empowers consumers to make informed decisions while promoting accountability, transparency, and trust among courier service providers.

This triple win is a testament to our unwavering commitment to safety, reliability, and innovation in courier services.
💼 Leadership that Drives Industry Excellence
We are also proud to share that our Group CEO of City-Link Express currently serves as the President of the Association of Malaysian Express Carriers (AMEC). His leadership and dedication have been instrumental in shaping industry-wide initiatives, policies, and improvements — including collaborative efforts behind today’s landmark celebration.
Adding further momentum to the event was the announcement of the Courier Safety Passport Training Program — a joint initiative by the Postal Forum, AMEC, the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS), and Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). This comprehensive training initiative is set to raise safety standards and boost operational excellence across the courier sector.
As we look to the future, this national recognition symbolizes the growing importance of the courier sector in Malaysia’s digital economy and its role in connecting people and businesses across the nation.
Selamat Hari Kurier Negara 2024!
Here’s to a safer, more efficient, and more connected courier ecosystem in Malaysia.
